Brock Turner, the ex-Stanford swimmer convicted of sexual assault, is out of jail.

He was freed early Friday morning after completing his shortened 6-month sentence.

via TMZ:

Turner served just 3 months of his 6-month sentence, due to good behavior. He could have been sentenced to 14 years after he was found guilty earlier this year on 3 felony charges — including intent to commit rape of an intoxicated person — but instead Judge Aaron Persky gave him the 6 months.

Two men stopped Turner as he was committing the January 2015 assault on an unconscious woman.

21-year-old Turner will now be on probation for 3 years and must register as a sex offender. He’s reportedly returning to his hometown in Ohio to live with his parents.

This should be the part where he goes into hiding.
