Stacey Dash’s most recent ex-husband (her 4th, to be exact) is making some pretty wild claims in new court documents.
Jeffrey Marty claims that Stacey’s pastor used hypnosis to compel him to marry her back in 2018.
New divorce papers, obtained by TMZ, indicate that Marty, an attorney, claims the minister “unexpectedly and suddenly proclaimed that it was God’s will” that he wed Dash.
Marty also asserts that he was forced to trudge forward with the wedding because of “hypnotic prayer techniques.”
Dash was arrested Sept. 29, 2019, in an alleged domestic violence incident involving Marty, reported the Tampa Bay Times at the time.
The Twitter feed of Marty — who like Dash is an outspoken Republican — is rife with political conspiracies, pro-President Trump links and Bible verses.
Dash filed for divorce in June, just two years into the marriage. The 53-year-old actress — who briefly was in the running for California’s 44th Congressional District seat in 2018 but dropped out five weeks later — is better known for her extremist views than her film career.
Among her more jaw-dropping beliefs is that Black History Month should be abolished, Al Gore is lying about global warming and transgender individuals infringing on her freedom should relieve themselves “in the bushes.”
Dash is set to appear in the upcoming film “Trail Blazers,” written and directed by right-wing actor Antonio Sabato Jr. The movie, which features a cadre of conservative co-stars, including Dean Cain, Scott Baio, Kristy Swanson and Kevin Sorbo, is in pre-production.
This is the ultimate battle between good and evil, between darkness and night, between God and Satan himself,” reads the movie description on IMDb.
You mean to tell us that Stacey’s so wretched that she had to conjure up a husband? We believe it.
