Fans have taken to social media to express outrage over a Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume modeled after her Vanity Fair cover.
The costume is being sold by popular Halloween store, Sprit Halloween, and now there’s a petition for the company to have the costume removed. The costume is also available at other wholesale outlets.
Spirit’s description of the costume reads:
“You probably won’t break any Twitter records when you wear this outfit like Caitlyn did when she first made her account, but you’ll be sure to get a few laughs out of your friends and the other guests at the get together.”
People are outraged and have begun to demand stores remove the costume from their shelves.

@SpiritHalloween making a costume out of Caitlyn Jenner and "tranny granny" is disgusting and mean-spirited. You've lost my business.

Sprit Halloween spokeswoman Trisha Lombardo said last week Jenner “has proven to be the most important real-life superhero of the year,” before adding, “Spirit Halloween is proud to carry the costume that celebrates her.”
How do you feel about the costume? Do you find it offensive?
