Spike Lee Will No Longer Use Chrisette Michele’s Music in His Upcoming Netflix Series Due to Inauguration Performance [Photo]

Chrisette Michele may receive a “Trump check” for performing at Donald Trump’s inauguration concert, but she won’t be receiving a performance royalty for having her music included in the upcoming Spike Lee-produced Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It.

Spike was considering using Chrisette’s track “Black Girl Magic” in his series but changed his mind after learning that Chrisette agreed to perform at the President-elect’s inauguration concert.
