This video truly hurt our heart.

A Wheel of Fortune contestant named Julian was preparing to win one million dollars after guessing the last letters in the puzzle ‘Mythological hero Achilles,” but one small mispronunciation cost him his prize.

He mispronounced the Greek hero’s name with a ‘ch’ sound, instead of the standard ‘K’ sound when speaking Greek. Because he didn’t properly pronounce the word/name, his answer was wrong and the female contestant after him was able to say the word correctly and won the round.

We would have had to fight someone…forreal. Check out the video below.

  1. You don’t win the million dollars just by picking up the wedge and solving. You also have to…

    – Avoid hitting Bankrupt for the rest of the game.

    – Have the highest total at the end of the game to go to the Bonus Round.

    – Land on the one envelope with the $1,000,000 prize (replacing the normal top prize of $100,000) in the 24-envelope Bonus Wheel.

    – Solve the Bonus Round puzzle.

He still made it to the Bonus Round but landed on a $30,000 envelope, so the Million Dollar WEDGE loss didn’t end up mattering.

  2. They so wrong for that smh..he was looking salty
