On the day after after the rape case against him was dropped, Nelly says he is taking legal action.

“Nelly has suffered very real damage to his reputation,” his attorney Scott Rosenblum said in a statement to Page Six on Friday. “He has incurred economic loss and painfully has watched his family suffer. As a result, Nelly is planning to proceed with litigation as the first step in restoring his reputation. We were confident, that what our investigation revealed from the outset of this allegation would ultimately be clear and Nelly would be vindicated.
Nellys’ attorney notes that while the rapper supports various women’s advocacy groups that deal with sexual assault, the false allegation made against him “is an affront to the real survivors of sexual assault.”
Well, if she lied we don’t blame him for standing up for himself.
