Watch out world, because Rebel Wilson is coming at you. MTV has drafted the hilarious actress to host the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Rebel, who is known for her comedic performances in Bridesmaids, Bachelorette and most recently, Pitch Perfect, will star as the host of this year’s awards and vows to ‘redefine’ the MTV Movie Awards with top secret plans!
The hosting gig is just the cherry on top of a perfect year for Wilson, who was named to the New York Times’ “2012 Hollywood Heroines” list, Entertainment Weekly’s “2012 Top Entertainers” list and New York Magazine’s “Best Entertainers” list.
The “MTV Movie Awards” will air LIVE at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from the Sony Pictures Studios Lot in Culver City, California on MTV.
