Miley Cyrus gave Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show a call from London to discuss her new video for “Wrecking Ball.” The controversial video has already broken the record for most views in it’s first 24 hours with 12.3 million views. As of this writing the video has reached a whopping 60 million views.
A lot of people had mixed feeling about the video — mainly because Miley was butt-naked and licking sledgehammers.
Miley came to the video’s defense and offered a little more explanation as to what the video really means. She says:
‘I think the video is much more, if people get past the point that I’m naked and you actually look at me. You can tell that I actually look more broken than even the song sounds. If people can take their minds off the obvious and go into their imagination a little bit and see kind of what the video really means and the way that it is so vulnerable.’
