In news that surprises absolutely no one, Mimi Faust has finally admitted that her “leaked” sex tape with former boyfriend and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta co-star Nikko London was staged all along.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, the mother of one comes clean, telling the magazine that she essentially “went along with it” after Nikko suggested the two release the tape for profit.
So, the story about their tape being stolen from the airport? False!
“We had to say something to present it to like… And then once we did the deal with Vivid, there was holes. There was a marketing plan. There was this; there was that. All of that was out of my control at that point. After you sign on the dotted line… We did film that initially ourselves. But when we agreed to do this… After we signed, they said we need more footage […] for us to sell a tape,” confessed Mimi.
Mimi now regrets her “stupid decision” but was sure to restate that at the time she agreed to it.
