Last week, RadarOnline.com reported La Toya Jackson wed her longtime friend and business partner, Jeffre Phillips, in Los Angeles on Friday (Dec. 6). The 57-year-old’s mother, Katherine Jackson, and her nephew, Prince, were reportedly in attendance at the nuptials.
It appears as though it was just a rumor. La Toya took to Twitter to set the record straight.
Thank you all for your congratulations on what you thought was a marriage.
It was a rumor.

The couple also released an official statement:
“The rumors that La Toya Jackson married her longtime business partner Jeffre Phillips are completely false. The reporting outlet should be embarrassed for their mistake and at least make an effort to find facts to back up their story before reporting.”
Maybe they’re waiting for season two of Life With La Toya to walk down the isle….
