Evelyn Lozada is engaged to her baby’s father, L.A. Dodgers star Carl Crawford!
She posted the above picture to Instagram with the caption: “YES!”
“I’m overjoyed and in complete and utter shock!” Lozada, 37, tells PEOPLE. “What a different year and a half it has been – I’m truly happy!”
He proposed with a massive a 14.5 carat diamond engagement ring worth an estimated $1.4 million!
“Carl has been a longtime client of mine and I knew immediately that he was really smitten and in love and wanted to make a statement that would light up the Christmas tree as well as the bride-to-be,” Arasheben tells PEOPLE.
Crawford was involved in designing the ring and looked at 10 or 15 stones before picking one and then he took his time finding the perfect mounting. Arasheben delivered the precious jewelry to Crawford in Arizona and says “his face just lit up when he saw it. You could tell they’re very much in love. He was excited and nervous.”
For those of you who don’t know, Crawford is currently fulfilling a $142 million contract with the Dodgers.
Just like fellow athlete Dwyane Wade, Crawford picked up the ring from go-to celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills.
After both marrying and divorcing Chad Johnson back in 2012, it’s a little surprisng that Evelyn’s ready to walk down the aisle again…but love is love!
