RuPaul’s life story may be headed to the small screen.
Bad Robot (an American film and television production company owned by J. J. Abrams), reality production company World of Wonder and RuPaul are collaborating to produce a half-hour dramedy series about the rise of the gay icon.
According to Deadline, Power executive producer Gary Lennon will pen the script, which will take place in 1980s New York City.
RuPaul’s year is off to a great start. He recently married his partner of 23 years.
