Lark Voorhies is using her ‘compromised’ Instagram to speak up and respond to many of the headlines that have popped up over the last few years about her life, her appearance, and her marriage.
In one post, she reveals she was diagnosed with Lupus in 2007.
To whom much is given, much is tested.
I have been the blunt of many cruel jokes at my own expense and my appearance has made headlines for all the wrong reasons which have been anything that I can fully comprehend to the fullest myself.
To whom it may concern, In 2007, I was diagnosed with Lupus. The past few years have been the hardest. While many have maliciously made fun of my heavy make-up, I’ve been having whats called butterfly rashes. Make-up seems to minimize some spots of malar rashes that come & go but have left me highly insecure.
I pray for sympathy and understanding as I have not fully come to cope and understand this disease myself and help spread worldwide awareness of something so personal.

In another post, Lark says she doesn’t suffer from any mental health issues and that both she and her mother will set the rumors straight once and for all in an upcoming interview.
To whom it may concern. I feel as if I should be addressing this, and I will be addressing this one last time, only.
I in no way suffer from any sort of mental health issues. My oversensitive, tenderhearted, & concerned mother has made some incorrect and worrisome statements regarding my mental health status that were said and stated at times that were convenient for her, and we both will be clearing the air together in an upcoming interview very soon.
Your continued support has meant everything to me these past few years and I can’t wait to be back on your TV screens!

In a third post, Lark provides ‘proof’ that the alleged sex tape her ex-husband Jimmy is shopping around doesn’t exist.
Further proof that Jimmy has lied about such tape. I’d appreciate an apology from EVERY media outlet and individual(s) who associated themselves with my ex husband to help generate such lies to intentionally hurt me. It Truly isn’t fair that I am being harassed in such a public platform.
I made a huge mistake marrying him but I can assure you that I am of full sound, body, & mind, and I would NEVER put myself into such a risky situation.
Im hoping that this FINALLY puts this rumor to rest so that we may all move forward!

At this point, we don’t know what to believe when it comes to Lark. All we can do is pray that her spirit finds peace.
