Do You Blame Him? Kyrie Irving Says He Does Not Regret Telling a Heckler to Suck His D*ck [Video]

Kyrie Irving is standing by his decision to tell a heckler to ‘suck his d*ck’ when leaving the court at the Wells Fargo Center.

Rather than apologize for shouting a profanity at a heckling fan while heading into the locker room at halftime of the Celtics game against the 76ers Friday, Irving instead said he takes “full responsibility” but does not regret making the comment.

“Hell no,” Irving told reporters when asked Sunday if he regrets his outburst. “[the fan was] man enough to record it on video, then that’s all him. I’m glad he got his [social media] name out there and then, kinda, 5 seconds of fame and it going viral — that’s the social media platform we live on. I take full responsibility what I said and excuse (to) the kids at home and you move on.”

Video surfaced Friday night showing Celtics players walking down the tunnel heading into the visitor’s locker room at Wells Fargo Center. As Irving walks into the frame, a fan yells, “Kyrie, where’s LeBron?”

Without breaking stride or looking up, Irving shouts back, “S— my d—!’

The 25-year-old point guard attributed his profane outburst to frustration as a result of the Celtics trailing the 76ers 50-46 at halftime.

“At the end of the day, we’re human,” Irving told reporters. “It’s in heat of the moment and frustrations arise, we were at halftime, we were down by 4, in an environment, a season-opener in Philly.”

Irving told reporters he has talked with the league about his outburst but does not know yet if he’ll be fined for his actions.

“It’s up to the league at this point,” Irving told reporters. “But, like I said, I’m going to take full responsibility for what I said. I don’t have any regrets for it.”

The Celtics ended up beating the 76ers 102-92 with Irving finishing with a game-high 21 points to go along with six rebounds, four assists and two steals.
