Beyoncé Vows to Help ‘As Many As We Can’ with Hurricane Harvey Relief

Beyoncé is stepping up to help her hometown of Houston support Hurricane Harvey victims.

She released an exclusive statement to the Chronicle pledging her support.

via Chron:

“My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help,” she said.

“I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John’s in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can.”

Beyoncé started BeyGOOD in 2013 during the Mrs. Carter World Tour. The organization partners with global charities to help with employment and provides clothing, counseling, housing, food and medical assistance.
