Lisa 'Left-Eye' Lopes Replaced by Japanese Pop Star Namie Amuro in TLC 'Waterfalls' Remake, Lopes Family Infuriated [Video]

Did you know it’s been 20 years since TLC made their debut and later changed the game with “Waterfalls“? To commemorate the anniversary of their career, TLC released a special recording of their hit featuring Japanese artist Namie Amuro. Not everybody is pleased, especially the family of Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes.

Left Eye’s sister, Reigndrop Lopes, is extremely disappointed, telling TMZ, “I did not know about it until a fan posted it online. I mean it would have been nice if they would have given us a head up before being surprised.”

Reigndrop says her mom was also shocked and hurt because she felt keeping Lisa on the song would have honored her daughter’s memory.

Check out the new version of the song below.
