Kodak Black is still riding the Trump train. During a recent interview Kodak continued to praise the former president for granting him clemency during his final day in office.

“I’m a real one, Trump a real one,” Kodak said before showing off an autographed MAGA hat he received after his release. “We gemini’s. His birthday’s two days after mine.”

In 2019, the rapper was slapped with a 46-month prison sentence in 2019 for falsifying documents related to a gun purchase. Kodak—legal name Bill Kapri—was about halfway through his sentence when Trump granted him a commutation. He immediately expressed his gratitude in a series of tweets as well as a post-prison track called “Last Day In”: “Trump just freed me, but my favorite president is on the money,” he rapped. “All they hatin’ presidents has become evident to me.”

Kodak also told TMZ he’s been putting in work in the months since his release and has already completed more than 200 records. His music engineer Derek “Dyryk” Garcia made a similar claim last week, revealing Kodak had recorded about 167 songs within two months.

“The music is easy. It’s just me taking my time, you know … setting my future up and not going back to prison or jail, none of that type of stuff,” he said. “Y’all tell Justin Bieber I have a song for him … I got a song I need Beyoncé on … I just need her to do two bars and I got the rest.”

At least he’s consistent.
