Kanye West donned a smile as he made up with the paparazzo he famously attacked back in 2013.

In July of that year, video footage of Kanye lunging at photographer Daniel Ramos outside of Los Angeles International Airport made its way online thanks to TMZ.

As a result of the attack, celebrity attorney Gloria Allred filed a lawsuit against Kanye on behalf of Daniel. Kanye was placed on probation for two years and ordered to complete 240 hours of community service and attend two dozen anger management sessions.

The case was set to go to trial in less than a week on April 14, but Kanye has since settled with Daniel out of court, and the lawsuit has been dismissed.

The terms of the settlement have not been revealed, but Kanye was ordered to apologize to Daniel for their very public scuffle.

Gloria released a statement to media yesterday.

“We believe that this case sent an important message. Celebrities are not above the law, and they have no right to physically attack someone simply because they were asked a question.”

Daniel was also famously attacked by Britney Spears with an umbrella in 2007.

Good for Kanye. We understand that paparazzi are an annoyance and sometimes even pose a threat to celebrities, but remaining calm in their presence saves both money and precious time.
