Jerry Heller's Nephew Moves to Keep 'Straight Outta Compton' Lawsuit Going

Jerry Heller’s nephew, Terry Heller, is asking a judge to let him create and run an estate for his late uncle in order to continue the defamation suit against ‘Straight Outta Compton.’

via TMZ:

Sources close to Terry tell TMZ … all of Jerry’s assets were already put into a private trust before his death, and the only reason he’s doing this is to change the name of the plaintiff from Jerry to Jerry’s estate … ’cause dead guys can’t sue.

You’ll recall … Jerry sued Dre, Cube and other producers of ‘Compton’ for $110 mil last year, claiming the film falsely made him look like “the bad guy.” A judge has tossed most of the case since then, but there’s still 2 questionable scenes on the table.

Looks like Jerry’s fight to defend his name will live on … even after him.

Let it go, Terry.
