'House of Cards' Production Suspended Indefinitely Amid Kevin Spacey Sexual Harassment Claims

It was reported yesterday that ‘House of Cards’ would be ending after the upcoming season six in the wake of Kevin Spacey’s sexual harassment scandal, but now Netflix has decided to suspend production on season 6 altogether.

“[Media Rights Capital] and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew,” the two companies said Tuesday in a joint statement to Deadline.

The season was set to premiere in 2018, but who knows if it’ll premiere at all thanks to Kevin Spacey.
