FABLife isn’t so ‘fab’ without former host and executive producer Tyra Banks. The newly-debuted talk show will NOT be returning for a second season.

via Deadline:

“We’re extremely proud of everyone involved with the show and would like to thank them for all of their contributions and tireless efforts,” said Janice Marinelli, president, Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and Television Distribution, said in a statement. “We are especially appreciative of our talented and dynamic co-hosts Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee, Leah Ashley and Lauren Makk, and we would also like to extend a huge thanks to our station partners for all of their support.”

FABLife, originally built around Tyra Banks as a lead host, got to a slow ratings start. It has been drawing a 0.7-0.8 household rating and 0.3 in women 18-49. In November Banks announced that she was phasing out her role on the show.

Launching successful new syndicated talk shows has proven hard in the past couple of years, with Warner Bros.’ The Real, recently renewed for two more seasons, as a rare success story amid a slew of casualties.

That’s too bad.
