Hilary Brooke Mueller decided to block D’Arreion Toles from getting into his apartment building — and now that video of the confrontation has gone viral her employer has decided to block her from having a job.
She has been fired!
Tribeca Luxury Apartments, the Hilary’s employer, say they were “disturbed” to hear about the incident and let her go.
“Tribeca-STL was recently shared a video containing a disturbing interaction that we believe is important to clarify. The video did involve one of our employees, but the event did NOT take place at Tribeca-STL and did NOT involve one of our tenants,” the real estate company said.
“The video is showing the employee in her private life at her own residence interacting with another person. The Tribeca-STL family is a minority-owned company that consists of employees and residents from many racial backgrounds. We are proud of this fact and do not and never will stand for racism or racial profiling at our company,” the company said. “After a review of the matter the employee has been terminated and is no longer with our Company. At Tribeca-STL we want all residents, guests and visitors to feel welcome, safe and respected.”
Now, if only there were a way to make her face legal consequences for her asinine actions.

In videos posted to Facebook, Hillary Brooke Mueller is first seen blocking D’ Arreion Toles’ entry into the downtown residential building. The uncomfortable exchange continues for several minutes with Mueller asking Toles for his unit number and to see his key fob. Leading her dog on a leash, the woman continues to follow Toles up to the moment that he unlocks the door to the unit where he lives. She then, apparently convinced that he is, in fact, a resident, tells Toles she’d like to meet him, “because you’re a neighbor.” Mueller’s former employer, Tribeca-STL, said that she no longer works for the company.
