Amber Rose is backing up Taylor Swift after the singer called out a Netflix show for slut-shaming her.
Earlier this week, Taylor called out the Netflix scripted show “Ginny & Georgia” for having a character tell her mother, “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.”
The singer tweet, “Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard-working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you Happy Women’s History Month I guess.”
Last night, TMZ caught Amber Rose leaving dinner and decided to ask her about the Taylor situation. She said Taylor was in the right and should be allowed to express her feelings.
Amber said, “You can never overreact over being slut-shamed for your past history of dating or sexual history. Team Taylor, all the way.”
The paparazzi mentioned it all happened during Women’s History Month. Amber said, “Yeah, but even every other day women need to stick together and don’t say they are overreacting because of how they feel.”
She ended, “She has a right to feel that way.”
Many have been coming to Taylor’s defense on social media. Fans have been comparing the treatment Taylor receives over her dating history to the treatment male celebrities get for doing the same thing.
One fan wrote, “It’s sad but true. Respect Taylor Swift! I think having 9 exes is normal. Sometimes, we break up because of other reasons & not because we are players. It’s in 2021 and why people are slut-shaming on Taylor like this. It’s not funny, @netflix>”
Remember Amber Rose created the Slut Walk, in effort to end slut shaming. She’s always been pro woman regardless of who you are.
