Ellen DeGeneres is known for surprising people with all types of things on her talk show, so it’s really no surprise to us that she sometimes brings the fun home.
Earlier this week, Ellen presented a new segment about celebrity Christmas stories and the first installment was her own. DeGeneres explained that her wife, Portia de Rossi, had wanted a Land Rover Defender for a while. She then found the car, parked it in a nearby parking lot she knew they were going to — then waited for Portia to notice it.
Portia noticed the car almost immediately, only to turn around and see Ellen holding the keys while capturing the whole moment on video.
Pay close attention to how her facial expression changes as soon as she realizes what’s going on — her reaction is priceless!
Despite rumors of the two having a rocky marriage, Ellen has been quick to shut them down, saying: “The only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more, it really is true.”
