Taye Diggs is no stranger to Broadway, but he debuted a first for himself on Broadway last night when he took to the stage as a transgender rocker in Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
The 44-year-old performed at the legendary Belasco Theatre, and while his performance earned him a standing ovation, we’re sure a few audience members were clapping for other reasons.
At the end of his first night, a shirtless Taye turned heads in a pair of tight black leather shorts.

On another note, we hear his performance was absolutely incredible.
