In her quest to make history and win a fourth consecutive Grand Slam title, Serena Williams defeated older sister Venus 6-4, 6-3 this morning on Centre Court in London, England.

The match marked the first time the sisters have met at a Grand Slam tournament since 2009. Coincidentally, the two played in the Wimbledon final that year, and Serena emerged the victor.

“It’s hard to feel excited about (beating) someone you root for all the time no matter what and who you love so much and she’s your best friend in the world,” Serena said. “It’s never easy but you just play for the competition and enjoy the moment.”

Serena’s win over Venus marks her 15th win out of 26 matches between the two, and if Serena wins Wimbledon, she’ll be just one title behind Steffi Graf, who holds the Open era record with 22 Grand Slam titles.

It won’t be easy, but we’re counting on Serena to win Wimbledon for the sixth time in her career this weekend.

Congrats, Serena, and well played, Venus!
