An Italian circus has been shut down after authorities busted troupe trying to pass off dogs as pandas.

The Italian newspaper Corriere della Sierra says the circus painted black patches on the ears and backs of two white Chow Chow puppies imported from Hungary.
Dozens of people reportedly paid to pose for pictures with the cute “pandas” — with one male and one female — both less than 6 months old.
We don’t know who’s more at fault — the circus for trying to play everyone for fools, or the fools who actually believed that these dogs were pandas. Check out one more photo of the “pandas” below.
That certainly doesn’t look like any panda we’ve ever seen.
