Nicole Kyaw thought she had seen the worst of her assailants’ attacks on Facebook. The aspiring model never thought that Internet harassment would come to two women slashing her face with razors at a mall.
Kyaw, an 18-year-old Kentucky native, told WKYT that it’s been a week — her gruesome scars have started to heal — and police have yet to make an arrest in the case despite her giving them a suspect.
The violence started as annoying comments on Facebook. A women who reportedly has a baby with Kyaw’s ex-boyfriend started calling her ugly on the social network.
“She would write me about me doing modeling,” Kyaw said. “She would tell me, ‘oh you know you’re ugly, you need to do sit ups.'”
