Miley Cyrus is winning. Her new song “Wrecking Ball” has earned her the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, the #1 song on iTunes, the #1 Hot Digital Song, the #1 streaming song on Spotify and more.
The song’s accompanying music video isn’t receiving as much praise, but instead has caused a university to remove their wrecking ball sculpture after many students used it as a way to pay homage to Miley. If you haven’t seen Miley’s video, click here.

The removal of the wrecking ball from school grounds has caused an upset among the student community. Many have gathered in protest, singing “Wrecking Ball” and calling to #reinstalltheball.
