Internet Sensation, Karmin has some serious talent. I remember watching their cover of Busta Rhymes & Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Now” and falling in love. Since then, Karmin has gone on to record numerous covers of some of my favorite songs as well as landing a major record deal and has released a first single (“Crash Ur Party”). Unfortunately for them, with fame and success comes a greater risk of having songs leak ahead of schedule.
Instead of being angry and bitter like most artists, Karmin has decided to embrace the leak and put the song on their official YouTube channel. “Brokenhearted” will also be officially released to iTunes next Tuesday (2/7)

“Brokenhearted” is a guitar-driven, radio friendly, pop record that has Top 40 written all over it. I don’t foresee it becoming a major hit, but it’s definitely a nice record to break up some of the monotony we hear on radio today. Don’t miss Karmin performing live on Saturday Night Live on February 11th! I’m incredibly proud of their success. Real shit.
