Kandi’s Wedding, Bravo’s latest housewife wedding spinoff, brought in big ratings for Bravo on Sunday night.
2.4 million viewers tuned in to see Kandi begin the wedding planning process — and we’re sure it had something to do with Mama Joyce and her antics. You can’t deny that Mama Joyce is good for TV!
This put Kandi’s Wedding as RHOA’s highest-rated spin-off yet, beating NeNe Leakes’ I Dream of NeNe and Kim Zolciak’s Don’t Be Tardy.
I Dream of NeNe debuted to 1.6 million viewers while Kim Zolciak’s Don’t Be Tardy special, which aired in 2012, attracted 1.39 million viewers.
After hearing about her spinoff’s huge ratings, Kandi took to social media to thank her fans.
“Thank you sooooooo much to everyone that watched, talked about, & spread the word for our premier episode of #KandisWedding,” she posted on Instagram. “Because of you we had 2.4 million viewers!!!!!! Im so thankful for my husband @Todd167, my family, friends, & the crew that all were a part of making this show happen. I love yall!”
Kandi’s Wedding airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
