Justin Bieber Apologizes for Bad Behavior in Facebook Video, Appears on ‘Ellen’ [Videos]

It seems that Justin Bieber is working overtime to get back in good graces with the public.

In a deeply sincere (of course this is extremely debatable) video posted on Facebook, the entertainer apologized for his recent bad behavior, chalking up his actions to his youth and the difficulties with navigating the entertainment industry.

In recent years, Justin has become the poster child for bad behavior. He’s attacked paparazzi, publicly urinated in a restaurant mop bucket (gross!) and faced charges of vandalism.

In the video, Justin makes sure to indicate that he’s not who he’s been “pretending” to be.

I’m not who I was pretending to be. Why I say I was ‘pretending’ is often we pretend to be something we’re not as a cover up of what we’re truly feeling inside. And there were a lot of feelings going on in there. Just being young and growing up in this business is hard. Just growing up in general is hard.

The emotional video comes after he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he also elaborated and poked fun at his bad behavior.

Everything about this seems extremely calculated. He dyes his hair blond, changes his attire, begins hanging with Kendall Jenner and now he’s suddenly a nice guy offering up a heartfelt apology?

The President of Comedy Central even unknowingly implied that the singer may have been acting out to generate material for an upcoming roast.

If Justin’s apology is sincere, great for him, but something about this reeks of PR.
