According to Variety, Billy Brown, who currently plays Detective Nate Lahey on ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder, has been tapped to star opposite Taraji P. Henson in Screen Gems’ upcoming assassin flick Proud Mary.
Proud Mary centers on a hitwoman whose life is changed when she meets a young boy who awakens her maternal instinct.
Details regarding Billy’s role have not been divulged, but production on Proud Mary is set to begin this April in Boston.
