Coldplay and Beyoncé sing in sweet harmony on “Hymn for the Weekend,” but according to frontman Chris Martin that wasn’t the only time he’s approached Bey to work with him.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone, he recalls a time he presented Beyoncé with a song called “Hook Up” (produced by Stargate) during a studio session — and she hated it.
She turned it down, he says, “in the sweetest possible way: She told me, ‘I really like you – but this is awful.'”
