Alicia Keys has been named the Global Creative Director for BlackBerry. The company made many exciting announcements today, including their new BlackBerry Q10 device and operating system. Don’t get it twisted though, being Global Creative Director is really just a fancy way of saying ‘Spokesperson with a little input’.
While it’s a great look for Alicia, many had a laugh or two this morning when they realized she’s been tweeting from her iPhone lately. In her defense, the BlackBerry Q10 phones haven’t been released…but surely they could have given their Global Creative Director a test run, no?
