Nicki Minaj is being sued by IMP Entertainment group for $50,000 after she allegedly nearly bailed on a one-hour gig she was booked for.

According to Page Six:

IMP Entertainment gave 50-grand to Minaj to host an NBA All-Star weekend event in Hollywood on Feb. 19, 2011.

But Minaj was 90 minutes late for her one-hour gig. She then left after just 30 minutes, the Manhattan Supreme Court suit.

The diva’s tardiness “defeated the entire purpose of” her agreement to host the event.

A spokeswoman for Minaj did not immediately comment.

In other Nicki Minaj news, it’s been confirmed that she’ll be bringing “Anaconda” to the MTV VMA stage with a live performance! If it’s anything like the video, be prepared for a LOT of jiggle.

The MTV Video Music Awards airs on August 24th at 9pm.
