“Live fast, die young, bad girls do it well…”
M.I.A. is hard at work on her new studio album which is due out this summer. The first offering from the project premiered today and will be available on iTunes tomorrow. The accompanying music video, directed by Roman Gavras, will debut on February 3rd.
“Bad Girls” was originally included in part on M.I.A.’s legendary Vicki Leekx mixtape and to be honest I wasn’t that impressed. However, I really like the full version of the song. With M.I.A. being my favorite (living) recording artist, I can’t help but be giddy with anticipation for this next project! Hopefully the rumors of her being involved with Madonna’s Super Bowl performance are true…
