Take me higher lord! Love muffins, it is that time again to put the spotlight on the endless talent from Youtube, and this woman is amazing. Her voice is truly a force to be reckoned with. I will create a sub-forum in the LBS forum for you love muffins to post links and descriptions informing me of Youtube singers that you think should be featured the upcoming week. Well, this week I have chosen to feature the warm-hearted extremely talented Takiyah singing Beyonce’s version of Des’ree’s 1996 “Still In Love (Kissing You)” hit song from Romeo + Juliet. I know this might sound crazy but I have listened to Takiyah’s version of the song almost everyday since I discovered it, I just can’t get enough of her voice! You want more? My love muffin Renee Thomas brought the Craig Lewis band to my attention tonight and all I could say was “damn” when I heard them singing The Brady Bunch song!! These two young men, that hail from Atlanta GA, took the popular TV show theme song, and sang it with such soul and conviction, it’s destined to give you goosebumps. Take me higher lord!! I really think you ladies should consider forming a new girl group or at least do more videos together because your voices blend so well together and it would be completely different from anything currently out in the music game right now! The concept of collaborating with other YouTubers with the use of split screens is just stellar! I think I might do that in the future with other YouTube commentators/personalities.
