VEVO hosted the premiere of Monica’s brand new video for “Everything To Me”, which makes it’s televsion debut on BET’s ‘106 and Park’ later today. The music video has a ‘Fatal Attraction’ theme and involves Monica getting physical with an obsessed woman trying to come for her man. I’m not sure if I like the concept of the video for this particular song, but it definitely kept me interested. Monica looks amazing!

Who knew Kanye West was still releasing videos from 808s & Hearbreak? Last I heard he was releasing “Robocop” featuring Amber Rose, but since that never saw the light of day I just assumed he was done with that era and was focusing on his next album. I guess I was wrong since last night saw the release of the video for “Coldest Winter”. The super eerie video isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s a nice visual.

While the song is just okay for me, it’s definitely nice to see Justin Timberlake doing music again…even if it isn’t his own track. “Carry Out” is probably the best track off of Timbaland’s Shock Value II, and so far it’s his most successful single chart-wise. The Black Eyed Peas are really doing it big in 2010! With their new single “Imma Be” picking up airplay every day it’s only fitting that the group releases a hot like fire new video for the song. With playtime running a staggering 10 minutes long, this video is more like a mini-movie! It’s kind of like a cross between Star Wars and Transformers and features both songs “Imma Be” and “Rockin That Body”. Here are some of the first shots of Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” music video which was filmed not too long ago and directed by the super talented Melina. Rihanna stopped by Carson Daly’s Amp radio show last week and described the video as being unlike any video she’s done before. She also mentioned that for the video they took it back to her roots with lots of colors and dancehall inspired costumes.

“[It's] completely different from any other video I’ve shot before. A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough. ‘Rude Boy’ is more playing along the lines from my roots. We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dance-hall queen type”

It looks like the leaked details from the set of Gaga’s “Telephone” video were true! A few pictures from the set surfaced online showing Beyoncé and Lady Gaga in the middle of the desert in true Gaga fashion! And yes, fine as hell Tyrese is playing the leading man in this one!

The pics also show the girls inside a truck called the “Pussy Wagon”. The truck was also featured in the movie Kill Bill. I’m so super duper excited for this video! Looks like it’s going to knock “Video Phone” out of the water.

Let me just go ahead and say that Usher finally got his groove back! MTV premiered his latest video for his single “Daddy’s Home (Hey Daddy)” and let me just say that I’m really impressed. Judging from the trend in male R&B and the nature of the song I just assumed that it was going to be another overly-sexed, overly-raunchy, roll around in the bedroom type video.

Thankfully, I was wrong…

Usher did a great job of balancing his grown and sexy image, while showing the young-ins that he can still move with the best of em’. His dancing was slow, simple, and relaxed, but super duper sexy. His ability to make his dancing sexy without grinding & winding all over the place is something I think Usher has over the majority of these younger artists with incredible dancing skills. This got me somewhat excited for his Raymond vs. Raymond album due out March 30th.

What better way to kick-start your monday with Sade’s brand new video for “Soldier of Love”? Love muffins, this video gave me everything I needed this morning. The video itself is simple, but visually it managed to keep me interested the entire time with. Sade delivered an excellent visual for the song as it perfectly captures the theme and overall feel of the song!

As we wrap up 2009, it’s hard to believe that it’s only been six months since we lost the greatest entertainer of our lifetime. There have been many tragedies this year, and while I feel no tragedies are more important than others, I will say that Michael Jackson’s death was truly shocking and took the entire world by surprise. His legacy will live on through his music and he will forever be known as the King of Pop.

This is actually one of my favorite records from her In Love & War album, which is in stores now. The video itself was cute and the concept was great. Love muffins get into Steph Jones’ remake of “Little Drummer Boy” featuring Jordin Sparks and yours truly. I think Steph summed up the video’s concept the best with the following words:

Its very important that people know that this isn’t just for Christmas its a song that I remade because I know that it will bring people together. When Jordin Sparks, B. Scott and I were marching with those drums I imagined us being on the front line in a war and it was my way of saying it doesn’t matter if you are man, women, gay or straight – we should all be able to come together and fight for a certain cause no matter who you are.. And once we truly figure that out then that’s when we grow as a people.

Mariah Carey announced that she is getting ready to embark on her first major tour in over three years. The Angels Advocate tour kicks off with her New Year’s Eve performance at Madison Square Garden on December 31st. The 8-week, 19-city tour features opening act RydazNrtist, a new R&B group signed to Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment label.

Also, Mimi is about to release not one, but two Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel remix albums. One, being the urban remix/guest features album, and the other being comprised of solely Jump Smokers’ remixes. News of the dual release comes just shortly after the Associated Press named Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel the fourth best album of 2009!

Alicia Keys’ album The Element of Freedom is set for release in December. The newest track to leak from the upcoming project is a soft airy ballad called “Dreaming”. The song reminds me of a mix between her previous songs “Nobody Not Really” and “Butterflyz”. I actually really like it.

Merely hours ahead of it’s scheduled release, Rihanna’s long awaited video for “Russian Roulette” made its way to the internet. This dramatic clip does a great job of capturing the essence of the song. I was literally on edge waiting to see what was going to happen. While not as visually engaging as Lady Gaga’s newest video, Rihanna certainly wins the award for Best Drama. Not to mention, both she and her leading man (Jesse Williams) look amazing!

Capitol Records, has really dropped the ball with LeToya’s latest project. Lady Love has received close to zero promotion. Despite the lack of financial support, LeToya managed to release another video to her increasingly popular song “Regret” (featuring Ludacris). The song is climbing up the charts, but unfortunatly I’m not sure her label really cares at this point.

Rihanna dropped the highly anticipated video for her buzz single “Wait Your Turn” earlier today via her website. While I like the dark theme of the video, I’m not entirely sure what to think about it. It’s definitely going to give people something to talk about….that’s for sure. Earlier today, Ryan Seacrest confirmed the Young Jeezy assisted “So Hard” as being the official second single. He says:

Her second official single “So Hard” featuring rapper Young Jeezy, follows the album’s debut single “Russian Roulette,” a dark ballad which came as a surprise to many fans who expected a high-energy dance track.

In a recent interview, Rihanna finally opened up to Glamour magazine about everything from her new album and image, to domestic violence.

Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. Britney Spears just premiered her brand new video for “3″ on her Twitter page and let me tell you that it’s hot! The super sexy video accompanies the hot-like-fire lead single from The Singles Collection, which is a compilation of Brit’s greatest hits (due out November 24th). She looks absolutely radiant in this video and the choreography is definitely a step from from what we’ve been seeing…but it still isn’t 100% Britney. Not to mention, she still relies heavily on her backup dancers to do the more complicated steps. Come on Brit-Brit! You’re almost there…

It’s predicted to see only between 20k to 25k units within it’s first week, despite the releative success of his lead single “Break Up”. The Black Eyed Peas wasted no time getting this video out. As soon as their previous single “I Got A Feeling” dipped from #1 on the Billboard charts (after sitting at the top for 14 weeks) they released the video for “Meet Me Halfway.” I actually love everything about this video. Fergie looks great, the storyline is great, and I can tell that they really put a lot of effort into this video as well as their single choice.
