Mariah Carey looks absolutely divine on the set of her new video for “Obsessed”! The diva has hired top-notch director Brett Ratner, who is responsible for many of her hottest videos, including “We Belong Together”, “Heartbreaker”, “Touch My Body”and “It’s Like That”. The first day of shooting was held behind closed doors on the fourth floor of The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The overall concept of the video is a secret, and there are reportedly “many surprises” that Mariah’s camp doesn’t want to reveal just yet. The video is set to premiere on July 13th and when it does you know you’ll be able to find it right here on LOVEBSCOTT.COM! After what seems like an eternity, the official video for “Broken Hearted Girl” debuted earlier today and it’s cute, simple, and sophisticated. I really enjoy seeing Beyoncé’s intimate side every now and then. The video doesn’t do much, but it serves its purpose as a good visual for the song. Beyoncé’s Above and Beyonce Video Collection and Dance Mixes is also in stores as of today! Make sure you go pick up a copy!

Love muffins, Amerie has finally premiered her new music video for her new single “Why R U” from her upcoming album In Love & War scheduled to hit stores this summer. She embodies a super sexy, hot-like-fire diva in this 80s inspired video. Let me tell you, she wore the HELL out of those pants….I might need to go pick up a pair for myself! Ciara shared a 19 second sneak peek of her new video for “Work”, which serves as one of the next two singles from Fantasy Ride (the other being “Like A Surgeon”. The video looks promising and I can’t wait to see Ciara dance again. I’ll reserve my full judgement for when I see the full video which is currently rumored to premiere on June 16th.

Also, check out “Tic Toc”, the latest unreleased song to leak from Ciara’s Fantasy Ride recording sessions. I can easily see why this song was left off of the album and didn’t serve as a bonus track. It’s somewhat similar to “When I”, which was an iTunes bonus track, but not as good.

Love muffins! The splendiferously divine Jordin Sparks has released a new 30 second preview of her new video for her hit song “Battlefield”. The song has peaked at #32 on the Billboard Hot 100 as of now, but hopefully this super duper hot video will help take it straight to number 1! The thing I love about Jordin is that she always manages to look amazingly hot, but classy and elegant at the same time. Young ladies should take note – this is how it’s done! Check out the final version of Kanye West’s new music video “Paranoid” featuring the lovely Rihanna. This version has a few extra scenes and added visual effects, but the simple changes makes the video SO much better than the previous version. I love the dark, spooky feel of the video. It sort of reminds me of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” with a touch of the movie Wolf.

The Black Eyed Peas debuted their brand new video for the second single off of The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies). “I Gotta Feeling” is an okay song, and the video captures the mood of the song quite nicely. Also, Fergie’s body looks amazing – this is the best she’s looked in a while. With that said, the song still isn’t as hot as some of the other tracks from the album. The E.N.D. is a non-stop party record that keeps you moving from start to finish and I must say that I throughly enjoy it.

I don’t even know where to begin to describe this video. Lady Gaga has returned with a new music video for “Paparazzi” from her highly successful debut album, The Fame. This video takes the form of a mini-movie as we see Lady Gaga go from pop royalty to prison inmate in less than 8 minutes. This isn’t just a video, this is a work of art! From the outrageous avant-garde costumes to very quirky and imaginative choreography, Lady Gaga has done a fabulous job and given us something totally different than anything that’s out right now.
