Today the official Soundscan numbers were reported and Jennifer Lopez’s latest album is a super duper flop! Thus confirming something we all knew which is that Jennifer Lopez needs to retire from music (or maybe just releasing Spanish albums)! J. Lo sold a disappointing 53,000 units and failed to debut in the Top Ten (coming in at #12), such an embarrassment! I think J. Lo should focus on her pregnancy, movies, clothing line, production company etc., anything other than music! Could this be bad karma from when J. Lo and Tommy Mottola stole song samples and concepts from Mariah Carey ’s 2001 Glitter album?

Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveSounds came out way back in September 2006, but he doesn’t want you to forget about him this holiday season. The singer has compiled two new gifts for fans: a special edition of the album and a new DVD to boot. FutureSex/LoveSounds Deluxe Edition, due November 27, will feature his “Until the End of Time” duet with Beyoncé and other to-be-named bonus tracks featuring big-name artists. The reissue will also house a bonus DVD with unreleased concert footage, making-of clips, director commentaries and more. The double-DVD FutureSex/LoveShow Live From Madison Square Garden, on the other hand, will drop a week earlier — and only be available at Best Buy. Expect to see the August 15 concert in full on the disc, as well as before and after footage, song-by-song commentary from JT, backstage clips, interviews and more.

Rapper, Nas has just announced the very controversial title of his next album: He said it will be called N*gga, yes you read it right “N*gga” and the album is going released in December. A source close to the project confirmed the name on Monday. I don’t know how you all feel about this, but I really don’t like this title at all! Thoughts?

Both charts will be posted tomorrow (Oct. 4) on Billboard.com. I guess her fans are truly saying gimme more!

In other Britney news, The Sun is reporting that her Aunt Chanda McGovern has spoken out admitting that her family fear they will “turn on the TV and find out she is dead”.

She went on to say:

“We are very worried that things are going to spiral out of control. Instead of her turning to her family she is going to turn to the friends she has been hanging with — and the partying and drugs. And whether it be intentionally or accidental, there may be a drugs overdose. We are worried about suicidal tendencies in her. Everything is spiralling down and she has not got a backbone — a family member to help her.”

I totally agree, that’s my fear as well!

She released two singles that did fairly well on the radio, so why oh why is Eve’s album being pushed back until 2008? This is not the first change. The original dates were August, September and October for the release. Somebody’s not doing our girl right, and we want to know what’s up! None of her reps are talking about the change of dates or the reason why, but we hope this means they’re tweaking the album and getting things on point for the new year. Usually these types of push backs are a bad sign, so we have our fingers crossed for Eve.
