Oh no he didn’t! Even though I like X Factor winner Leon Jackson doesn’t mean I agree with him remaking “When You Believe” as his debut single! For those of you who don’t know two of the greatest vocalists to ever walk the face of the earth, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, sang the original version of “When You Believe” and Leon’s rendition not only didn’t do it justice, it was super duper painful to hear him butcher it especially when I remember the original so clearly! I have provided you with the original MC and WH version as well as Leon’s remake, let me know what you think.

Or at least it did for me. I have already posted the video of Jean Baylor (formerly of the R&B duo Zhané) performing her song, “Morning Time”. But now I finally have an mp3 of the live performance for your listening pleasure. It’s Sunday so I figured I’d give you something inspirational. Her voice, the piano playing, and the lyrics all come together to create a magnificent song. It truly moves me everytime I hear it. Take a listen.
