Easy Cooking: French Toast
+ June 30, 2008
Last week I featured breakfast for the first time since I started this segment and I’m just stuck on it. This week it is french toast and this super duper yummy meal is very easy to make. I like it because there is so much you can do to it to make it better. This recipe gives you syrup to put on it, but if maple doesn’t tickle your fancy just make your own easy syrup. It’s yours so have fun and go for it. Only you know what you really like and how you want it. Find the recipe and alternatives after the jump - Read more
Easy Cooking: Omelette
+ June 23, 2008
Love muffins, I know usually on the Easy Cooking I bring you stuff that can be used for an early dinner and lunch. This week I think it’s time to stop neglecting the most important meal of the day, breakfast. In order to get your day started, you need your fuel and protein. This recipe is super duper easy, not to mention, yummy! You can be creative and add sausage (if that’s what you like) or tomatoes, cheese or anything. Just let your imagination run wild and let me know how it turned out. For my love muffins with an egg allergy try Egg-Free Omelette Mix recipe after the jump Read more
Easy Cooking: Mexicali Chicken Breasts
+ June 16, 2008
Love muffins, when I came across this recipe I just knew it was too simple to be true. Every thing is just ready made and you just have to put everything together. My favorite part is that there are only three ingredients you need. Be creative with the sides or just go with something more simple than this, like a baked potato. Put that oven into use. Take me higher lord! If all recipes were this easy I might turn into Martha Stewart Jr. Well not quite, but you all get what I’m saying. See the recipe after the jump- Read more

Easy Cooking: Taco Salad
+ May 26, 2008
In the Summer we all want something easy to make. Instead of going to Burger King or McDonald’s for the dollar menu - we should focus on something more healthy. This is a favorite recipe of mine and extremely easy to make (also good for a side dish on Memorials Day). This recipe is made with ground turkey, but vegetarians can replace the meat with tofu or just use an assortment of beans (just don’t forget the beano).
Fashion Focus: Remembering Aaliyah
+ May 14, 2008
Fadar Magazine has dedicated their June cover story to Aaliyah. This is a simply gorgeous picture of the R&B princess. The magazine includes more pictures, thoughts and commentary from people in the music industry on how Aaliyah changed the music game. Aaliyah was not only known for her music, but she was also known for her style. When she first debuted on the scene with her debut single “Back and Forth,” she had the tough/thug girl look. Wearing baggy pants, men’s fashion pieces, dark sunglasses and let’s not forget the wrap hair do (sistas you know what I’m talking about—don’t act like I was the only one who ran out and tried to cop the “Aaliyah” wrap style). As Aaliyah’s career evolved, so did her style. She transitioned her boyish style to a more sleek and sexy look–trading in the baggy jeans for form fitting tops, jeans and designer dresses for red carpet events. Read more
Fashion Focus: Agyness Deyn!
+ April 29, 2008

.
With the Hollywood red carpets full of celebrities, models with long flowing tresses, picture perfect outfits, and makeup in place—Agyness Deyn is a new and welcomed face. Agyness, whose real name is Laura Hollins, is a 24 year old British model who is taking the runway by storm and has been deemed “the next Kate Moss.” Known for her obvious good looks, bleached blonde boyish cut hair, and not so norm red carpet fashion sense; Agyness gets everyone’s attention! She has walked runways all across the world and currently models in ad campaigns for Burberry and Giorgio Armani. Let’s admit, her fashion sense is…well…let’s just say it’s different. But for some reason, she gets a fashion pass from me. She has described her look as evolving from being “boyish punk” to now “lady punk.”
