Love muffins, how time flies. Another season of American Idol crowns a new king – Kris Allen of Conway, AR! Kris is an amazing talent, but sadly, my heart was set on Adam Lambert. Coming in second is not a bad thing, I mean, look at Clay Aiken (does anyone know where Ruben Studdard is?). Adam will soon be on his way through the American Idol machine – getting a record deal, styling team, etc. …a magic team. I’m sure we all thought it was time for our first gay Idol!

Last night Melissa Rivers was fired on Celebrity Apprentice by Donald Trump and moments later all hell broke loose! The confrontation between Joan Rivers and Annie Duke on this week’s episode was simply out of control. Joan’s daughter, Melissa Rivers, took the fall as a result of her team’s loss, causing Joan Rivers to label all poker players “trash” and call Duke a Nazi in a crazed tirade. Praise God for Jesus! One of my favorite shows ever, Project Runway, will return to cable via Lifetime this summer!

NBC Universal, The Weinstein Company and Lifetime have resolved their disputes. The Weinstein Company will pay NBCU for the right to move Project Runway to Lifetime. All of the parties are pleased with the outcome. Harvey Weinstein added, “I want to personally congratulate Jeff Zucker and NBCU on their success in the litigation and thank Jeff for resolving this in a professional manner. We look forward to working together on our ongoing projects.”

The completed sixth season – taped in Los Angeles and featuring stars Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn – will begin airing this summer. The deal also guarantees that Project Runway will remain on Lifetime for the next five years and allows for the show’s spinoff series, Models of the Runway, to begin airing as well.

Love muffins, this is truly splendiferously divine news! Note: Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria Parker and Rebecca Romijn have already filmed guest judge spots for the season.

Tiffany Pollard, better known as the boisterous “New York” on two seasons of Flavor of Love and spinoffs, I Love New York and New York Goes To Hollywood, will be stepping into the VH1 spotlight again with new show, New York Goes to Work.

A camera crew will follow New York around as she works at a new job each week – from positions at a sewer plant to a fast-food restaurant to a mortuary.

Viewers will vote on which job she should take by sending in text messages. If she sticks with the job for a week without getting fired or quitting, she’ll earn $5,000.

I like the interactive concept of the show. Very American Idol….only minus the Paula, and more New York! It’s amazing how technology is becoming more and more entwined in everything we do. Think Twitter.

Are we liking this concept? Do we like New York? I think she’s hilarious.

Love muffins, did you get a chance to watch the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night?

He talked about how large companies should take greater financial responsibility for their actions and the steps needed for “long-term economic growth.” Obama also gave explanations as to why we’re in the financial mess that we’re in (ie, the AIG bailout and bonuses), and discussed how we need to have “regulatory common sense” in place so we don’t face the same economic problems again.

His witty one-liners and charming demeanor will make you laugh and like him even more.
