Janet Jackson gave her first TV interview since the untimely passing of her brother Michael this past Wednesday on ABC. In the interview she talked about life after MJ, her ex-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, and her upcoming greatest hits album. Janet’s TV special earned the network fairly high ratings, coming in as the 2nd most watched show in its time slot with 6.7 million viewers.

Rihanna gave another interview earlier today on MTV’s “It’s On With Alexa Chung”. While she mentions her 20/20 interview, the main focus of this interview was to promote her new album. For the first time I think we got a good look into her personality as she seems super happy and relaxed. In the interview, she discusses the metaphor behind her new single “Russian Roulette”, talks about some of her guilty pleasures, and recalls some of her super fierce fashion choices from the last few months. It’s definitely something to watch.

The cast of Fox’s breakout show of 2009, Glee, held an autograph signing at LA’s Barnes & Noble on Saturday. The cast greeted fans (or as they liked to be called “Gleeks”) of all ages and held press conferences as well. Rihanna’s interview with 20/20 finally aired in its entirety last night and she pretty much left nothing to the imagination. She spoke quite openly and candidly about the events that occurred between her and Chris Brown. As most of you know my thoughts on the situation, I’m not going to discuss it any further.
