Newsflash: Black People Can Have Blue Eyes Love Muffins!

She has green eyes, not blue, geezzz! I could really go in on what I’m scratching at here, but I won’t. Let’s keep it light and airy.

Okay… I just thought it was a good time to educate some people including my love muffin, Jinx, that “Black” people can have blue eyes! Vanessa Williams’ parents were both of African American and European heritage and so it would not defy logic to believe that she does or could have blue (grayish) eyes! I’m interracial and have relatives with blue, green, gray, hazel and everything in between eyes. I have never met Vanessa Williams so I don’t know for sure but I can go by what I have seen of her eyes in pictures over the years.

Click HERE to see three different close-ups of Vanessa Williams’ eyes, none of which appear to be green. I think her eyes are most likely a combination of colors 80% blue and maybe 20% grayish-green; some call it “aqua” or “Caribbean-blue“. As you can see above Vanessa’s eye color appears to change color depending on the eye make-up (style and color) she has on, her clothes (color), on the light (colored, direct, non-direct), and a few more factors.

Here’s some pictures of little blue eyed Laren Galloway. Laren’s parents are both African American and he clearly has blue eyes.

Is this chick crazy? The Lost star must report to a Los Angeles County Jail by Dec 24. I guess the good news is that she will be sentenced to an all women’s dentition center. There is no excuse to treat an animal this way, I mean come on! Above is a picture of one of the 12 pit bulls rescued from DMX’s Phoenix home. The police also were busy over the weekend digging up dead dogs in his backyard as well.

Two dogs found buried at a home belonging to rapper DMX had serious wounds, authorities investigating animal neglect allegations said Saturday.

One of the dogs had serious bite wounds and another had trauma to its abdomen, but exact causes of death were not determined, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said. A third dog carcass had been burned so badly an exam was inconclusive.

Hulk Hogan’s Son Almost Died!

As previously posted, The Hulk’s son, Nick Bollea, almost went to the afterlife yesterday when his Toyota Supra bounced off the road and struck a palm tree in Clearwater, Florida. The spokesman of the Clearwater Police Department, Wayne Shelor, told People magazine:

“His car inexplicably left the road and it was totally destroyed upon impact. We don’t know exactly what happened but we are investigating.” Bollea, 17, and his male passenger had to be extracted from the vehicle using the “jaws of life.” They were placed on a Medivac helicopter where they were flown seven minutes to nearby Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg. Bollea is in serious condition, while his passenger has been listed in critical condition.”

Wow, after looking at these pictures it’s wonder he’s alive!

****UPDATE: It has been reported by TMZ.com that Nick was discharged from the Florida hospital early this morning, but the friend—John Graziano—is still there in critical condition.

I hate to do this because I am such a Lauryn Hill fan, but I must address the recent pictures I saw at Crunk + Disorderly. I know that cameras can sometimes be ruthless and can catch people at a bad angle but this is ridiculous. Katie Couric Slaps A Staffer!

That’s right. Little Ms. Goody Two-Shoes Katie Couric admitted in this month’s New York magazine that, due to the stress of low ratings as the CBS Evening News anchor she has second-guessed her move to network and at one point, slapped a staffer on set.

According to the article, her frustration reached a new low last month when, after news editor Jerry Cipriano used the word she hates (”sputum”) in a piece about tuberculosis, she slapped Cipriano “over and over and over again” on the arm, according to eyewitnesses. Says Couric:

“ I sort of slapped him around. “I got mad at him and said, ‘You can’t do this to me. You have to tell me when you’re going to use a word like that.’ I was aggravated, there’s no question about that.”

Sounds like someone can’t stand not being the Queen Bee. I bet she’s really jealous that Meredith Viera is such a huge hit.

Verizon Dumps Akon and Gwen!

Verizon Wireless has abruptly pulled out as the presenting sponsor on Gwen Stefani’s current tour due to Akon’s Trinidad shenanigans.

During an Akon concert on the island last month that was unaffiliated with Mrs. Rossdale’s tour, the R&B singer danced provocatively with a 15-year-old fan. When the pictures and video popped up all over the net, the wireless provider suddenly got nerves and pulled out. Also, the company has removed all Akon ringtones and music from it’s devices and stores–including V Cast TV spots.

This pullout, so to speak, will cost Gwen’s tour almost $2 million. So much for “It Don’t Matter”!

Harry Morton, CEO and president of the Pink Taco restaurant chain, has just begun a legal war with a person who, posing as Harry, posted pictures of his friends in the buff on a MySpace page. He has one slight problem though: he has no idea who he’s suing!

In a lawsuit filed Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior court, Morton claims that an unidentified cyber-jerk he calls “Jane Doe” posted naked images of one of his friends and made false claims that the friend had AIDS. Morton alleges that the fake page was created under his name to make him accountable.

Looks like Harry’s friends need to be more careful about showing off their ‘Pink Tacos’!

American Idol Finalist Arrested

Tampa, FL. Season 4 American Idol finalist, Jessica Sierra, was arrested today and charged with assault and drug possession. The 21 year old idol was found to have cocaine on her person after allegedly hitting a man on the head with a heavy glass. Sierra was released after paying a $11,500 dollar bail. The victim suffered a cut over his eye but so far no other information has been released about the incident. Sierra is to face arraignment on Monday.

Prince Harry Named As Insurgents’ Prime Target

Prince William and Prince Harry may have bitten off a bit more than they can chew in an attempt to continue the trend of royalty going into battle, proving themselves worthy leaders in battle. The young men both would like to go and complete their tours in Iraq but many leaders speculate that since insurgents have already named the two as targets that whatever troops they deploy with the boys will also be in danger. Insurgents stepped up attacks on British forces when the first news of Prince William’s tour in Iraq was announced. It has been a deadly time for British forces with some 30 soldiers dying last month. Some believe that capture of either boys, who are second and third in line for the British crown after their father Prince Charles, would be a devastating blow to diplomacy and a cause for more retaliation. Prince Harry is a cornet in the Blues and Royals—a mechanized tank regiment. Harry will lead a force of Scimitar armored vehicles along the Iraq/Iran border. No doubt this will be a hot spot for violence and further trouble from Iran.

Personally, I think the Princes are great. I think it’s wonderful that we all can dream of one day marrying one because they still exist! So here is a fun question love muffins, would you love to marry one of the heirs to the British thrown? Kate Middleton threw away her chance. Oh! Kate! Why did you do it??

Eve Crashes Car & Arrested!

According to TMZ rapperista/actress Eve was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she crashed her gold Maserati on Hollywood Boulevard. Los Angeles police arrived on the scene and cuffed a crying Eve as they placed her in a squad car and took her away according to reports. Police sources tell TMZ that Eve’s blood alcohol level was “double the legal limit.” Two other people were allegedly in the car at the time of the crash. Moments ago, Eve posted bail and was released from Los Angeles County Jail. Check back for more details to come!

According to TMZ, Alec Baldwin left a horrific voice mail earlier today for his young pre-teen daughter, Ireland. He literally takes it way beyond any reasonable amount of understanding! Apparently, upon hearing this message, a family law judge temporarily banned him from seeing his daughter. His people released this statement later this afternoon:

“In the best interest of the child, Alec will do what the mother is pathologically incapable of doing … keeping his mouth shut and obeying the court order. The mother and her lawyer leaked this sealed material in violation of a court order. Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years.”

CBS Corp. Cancels Don Imus’ Radio Show!

CBS Corp. said on Thursday it would permanently cancel Don Imus’ morning radio talk program, following racist and sexist comments made by the shock jock about a women’s college basketball team.

CBS President and Chief Executive Officer Leslie Moonves said in a statement:

“From the outset, I believe all of us have been deeply upset and repulsed by the statements that were made on our air about the young women who represented Rutgers University in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship with such class, energy and talent.”

I’m glad that CBS decided to give him the boot, they should have retired his racist a$$ years ago!

And has anyone else noticed an eerie similarity between Donald Trump and Don Imus? Is it just me or were they maybe brothers who got separated at some point?

Joe Francis Going To Jail?

The underage girl exploiter, Joe Francis, was indicted yesterday for tax evasion. The charges stem from him illegally deducting more than $20 million on his taxes.

The Smoking Gun reports:

According to a two count indictment filed in U.S. District Court in Reno, Nevada, Francis, 34, sought to conceal income through the use of offshore companies and nominees. At one point, he transferred $15 million from one offshore bank account to a California brokerage account in the name of a Cayman Islands corporation he controlled. If convicted of the federal charges, he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and fines of up to $500,000. Francis was arrested yesterday on an unrelated federal warrant stemming from a civil lawsuit brought against him by seven underage women who were filmed by “Girls Gone Wild” cameramen in Florida in 2003.

I sure hope he has some Astroglide !

Don Imus: You’re Fired!

MSNBC has fired Don Imus effective immediately. NBC news President issued this statement:

“Effective immediately, MSNBC will no longer simulcast the “Imus in the Morning” radio program. This decision comes as a result of an ongoing review process, which initially included the announcement of a suspension. It also takes into account many conversations with our own employees. What matters to us most is that the men and women of NBC Universal have confidence in the values we have set for this company. This is the only decision that makes that possible. Once again, we apologize to the women of the Rutgers basketball team and to our viewers. We deeply regret the pain this incident has caused.”

Good for you NBC! What that old crusty fool said was uncalled for and disgusting!

Does this look like the face of a killer to you?

The police are harassing Lisa Novak again saying that they’ve discovered a CD with bondage photos on it, about $80 (I hope she wasn’t going to flee on that) and 69 orange pills wrapped in paper towels. Police are testing the pills to see what they are. I think they should probably give them back to her so she can calm down. This just plays into the government’s tendency to hire crazy people and then disown them later. My guess is that these people are probably sane before the fact and then only later become raving lunatics after working for them. Who knows. I just hope Lisa gets over the adult diaper fetish. . . that was definitely the least sexy of all her faults!

Snoop D-O-Double G in T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Bad Officers! You get fined for possession. . . not arrested!

Pasadena, Calif. Rap superstar Snoop Dogg is going to grace us lovely Pasadenians with his presence Wednesday for charges of gun possession by a felon and sale of (the music business can’t be that slow can it?) or transport of marijuana.

Snoop was picked up at Bob Hope’s airport on suspicion of a controlled substance and police later discovered the gun at Snoops home. If convicted he could get 4 years in the slammer. Darn those Burbank officers!

In 1990 he was convicted of cocaine and gun possession but only got three years probation and community service (Gosh. . . would the rest of us get off that easy?). I can’t really see why the man can’t own a gun. If I was a millionaire rap star I’d probably need one to fend off all the crazy fans and stalkers as well as bust a cap in the competition every once in a while. Anyway, it just goes to show you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Snoop, if you’re gonna burn one down. . . do it at home.

I Feel So Sorry For Paris!

So Michael Jackson took his daughter Paris on a private shopping spree at FAO Schwarz in Las Vegas for her birthday. But my question is why must the child be shrouded in secrecy! It’s absolutely absurd that Paris is covered up like some kind of mummy. I’m sure she’s going to develop a demented sense of self just like her father! Heartbreaking! (B. Scott shaking his head)
