Usher seems to be the it guy right now – from television interviews to being on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, all to promote his new CD Here I Stand. Usher explained how his album came to be what it is now.

”It starts off with a guy who’s in the club, having a good time, and going home with a woman. The character that I’m setting up is not a guy who is married right off; he’s a guy who goes through the journey of getting married….. I was going out night to night, having a different woman in my bed every time I chose, and I began to wonder: Am I really being a playa or am I a whore?”

Yesterday, a rumor surfaced that Usher filed for separation from his wife Tameka of nine months.

“It’s 100% not true,” Usher’s manager Benny Medina tells Usmagazine.com.

“Usher and Tameka are currently traveling in Europe together as a family on his promotional tour in support of his album Here I Stand, available May 27,” he added. “This rumor is completely false.” [People]

Usher premiered his new music video today – “Moving Mountains”. It picks up right where “Love In This Club” left off. Now I know why “Love In This Club” ended the way it did. Usher is gearing up for the release of Here I Stand on May 27th. The imagery is beautiful, but i’m just wondering how is he going to get down from the mountain. Thoughts?

Usher’s edited performance of his hit single Love In This Club last night on “Dancing With The Stars” (above) may have seemed flawless, but what supposedly happened behind the scenes at the May 13th taping is a whole different story. Usher arrived late, throwing the production team off schedule. Then as he lip-synched, he lost touch with his choreography, turning the wrong way once, the other time losing his mic. After both mistakes he walked off stage. He then took a long break to “get a drink”. “He was ridiculous,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Such a diva.” The crew then only had 15 minutes to prepare for the live show. “There was a lot of holdup. We almost didn’t make it.” a source says. I wonder what was going on with Usher? Maybe he was a little tired or had a lot on his mind. Maybe he just didn’t want to be there? I can’t get over someone calling him a “diva”! What grown married man and father wants to be called a “diva”?! That is pretty harsh don’t you think?

Love muffins, Ushers new album Here I Stand which will not be released in stores until May 27 has leaked today. This album is super duper hot! I feel like taking a bath in pinkberry right now, because the album is that hot! Usher has plenty of mellow tracks along with some upbeat tracks. I really love “Before I Met You”, “Trading Spaces”, “Love In This Club Part II”, “What’s A Man To Do”, and “Appetite”. This album is filled with slow songs and mid-tempo songs with a few upbeat tracks as well. “Here I Stand” is so beautiful – I love that this track has a neo soul vibe to it. He completely did a 180 from his last album Confessions. Take me higher lord! Usher sing to me, sing to B. Scott!
