Usher and his wife Tameka Raymond welcomed their second boy together weighing in at 5 lbs, 13 oz early Wednesday morning. They named the child, get this…Naviyd Ely Raymond. What is going on with all these unusual names? The family representative stated that “Tameka and the baby are doing fine”. Congratulations to their ever growing family! I give it 6 weeks until Tameka pops up pregnant again, because I can bet you they will be sexing it up even though they are not suppose to. Thoughts?

Love muffins here is another late night download – a mixture of different artists. Omarion’s “Get Her” is an okay song. It sounds like I have heard this beat some where before, sounds like a Danity Kane beat. Maybe I just have Danity Kane on the brain. Ciara’s “Explode” is super duper sexy! Usher’s “Off Your Chest” is an okay song – nothing about it stands out. Toni Braxton’s “Melt” is beautiful while The Dream’s “Cringing” is just…cringing. Thoughts?

Kanye West released his latest music video for the song “Heartless” off of his upcoming 808’s & Heartbreak album. I love the fact that he always puts thought into what kind of concept the video should have. Usher pleased a fan, well several thousand fans (including me) with a performance last Monday during his concert on his song “Superstar”. Even though Usher is touring right now and his second child is due in December, he is about to hit us with another album in 2009. Usher is excited, because “Ne-Yo is actually potentially gonna be a part of this project. On the last one we didn’t work together until the very end — hopefully we are gonna try and get together early.” Of course you know Ne-Yo loves the idea. He was one of the first people to tell Usher that “[he] didn’t think [Usher] was focused on the album … on Here I Stand…[He doesn't] think his focus was in the right place.” CONTINUE READING
