Ryan Seacrest, Howie Mandel, and Tyra Banks are potential nominees for “outstanding host for a reality or reality-competition program”. This new Emmy category will debut this September at the annual awards ceremony. Other potential nominees are hosts’ Jeff Foxworthy (Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?), and Ty Pennington (Extreme Makeover Home Edition).

Well, I’m not sure if Tyra Banks said that, however she did recently celebrate the 500th episode of her popular daytime talk show so it seems that she’s well on her way. Sunday, during the taping of this special epidode, Tyra kept it “fierce” by taking the camera-crew and even her audience to Union Square right in the heart of New York City. Mama Tyra was sure to bring along her ANTM children Saleshia & Jaseline. Check them out in the back flashing their CoverGirl smiles!!! I’m proud of you Ms. Banks.

…at least that is what OK! Magazine (via MSNBC) is reporting! They say Tyra is apparently over the reality show and wants to focus on her talk show. They are also reporting that she is not getting along with Jay Manuel.

A source said, “It’s gotten so bad that Tyra and Jay aren’t speaking. Tyra barely interacts with the contestants and only wants to show up on judging day.”

Tyra wouldn’t comment on the rumors, but a source said she might be looking for a new supermodel to take her place on the reality show. Love Muffins, who should they get to replace Tyra or should they just cancel the show all together?! Please let me know!

Banks considers herself more akin to Martha Stewart and Donald Trump. To that end, her latest development is Bankable Enterprises, created to move the mini-mogul into arenas like real estate…

”There’s a fear I have with success in the business world,” she admits. ”People have this image of women, especially in business — that they have to be ballbusters, and that’s so not what I am.” That said, the woman whose company logo features a shiny bank vault is not going to stop growing her media empire. ”I’m not afraid of wanting money at all,” she says. ”Money will give me more power to do things that are truer to my spirit than what I’m already doing.” Still, she adds, ”I don’t think I’ll always be on television. I don’t know whether it’s 10 or 20 years, but I know it won’t be when I’m 60.”

Tyra Banks covers the pages of the February issue of Essence and is looking very Splendiferous. Just in time for the Valentine’s issue, she’s talking about how her life feels unfulfilled since she’s not a mother and not a wife.

“I’d go to work and women would be crying in my arms on the talk show. But then I’d go home and put my key in my door and … nothing: no friends, no husband, no children. I feel so full when I’m at work but so empty when I come home.”

Lord, Tyra sounds a little depressed (sending good energy her way). Love muffins, why is it Tyra can’t find a man?!
