Cycle 8 of America’s Next Top Model will be debuting on February 28th, and let’s just say the girls are LESS THAN STUNNING! Maybe “Medusa” is too harsh, but I figure if you’re looking for a TOP MODEL, your contestants should be undeniably beautiful, and most of these girls are borderline at best! Just because you’re tall and thin doesn’t mean you’re model material.

First the People cover, and now this. Tyra Banks is turning her recent weight-gain into a PR Bonanza. On the Thursday episode of her talk show, Tyra goes head-to-head with the tabloids that plastered pictures of her looking a little FLUFFY. In an effort to get back at the media, she sports the same bathing suit she wore when those notorious photos were taken. She also goes on a rant about self-esteem and anorexia that seems sincere but is a little over-the-top.

She’s actually making me feel a little bad about my previous “Piggy Banks” post.

I’m sure you remember our previous post about Tyra Banks’ recent weight gain. Well, Tyra is finally talking about all the flack she got for those unflattering pictures in the latest edition of People Magazine. Her explanation is that it’s true she has gained some weight, but the paparazzi photos exaggerated her size by catching her at an “unflattering angle”. (Hmmmm) She also says that TV execs for her talk show suggested that she gain some weight to make her more relatable to her audience.

By her account she’s 5′10″ and 161 pounds and says that she’s only gained 30 pounds since her modeling days. She asserts that she still feels sexy and since she’s no longer a model she doesn’t feel the need to be confined by those weight standards. Maybe she has a point!!! (But don’t we all know that People cover is airbrushed to perfection)

This cannot be Tyra Banks! I feel like I’m at Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum! I know her forehead is large, but she’s still pretty most of the time. At last night’s Producer’s Guild Awards in Los Angeles, she just looked scared! Perhaps they gave her too much Botox??? Plus her lace-front weave looks DUSTY! Like someone put baby powder all up in it! *sigh* Where are Mr. and Ms. Jay when you need them?

We know Tyra Banks is trying to prove to everybody that she’s a round-the-way girl but she’s taking a little too far by discussing the intimate details of her s#!t on national television. I mean, do we really need to know that Tyra’s crap looks like raisinettes. “Super Poo”. WTF? This is just plain shiteous!!!
