In tonight’s 20/20 interview, Rihanna gives a detailed account of what happened in the car on the night she was attacked by Chris Brown.

She says all she kept thinking was, “When is it going to stop? When is it going to stop? He had no soul in his eyes. Just blank. He was clearly blacked-out. There was no person when I looked at him.”

November 3, 2009 Rihanna: New Video + Interview + “So Hard” For 2nd Single

rihanna_glamour

Rihanna dropped the highly anticipated video for her buzz single “Wait Your Turn” earlier today via her website. While I like the dark theme of the video, I’m not entirely sure what to think about it. It’s definitely going to give people something to talk about….that’s for sure. Earlier today, Ryan Seacrest confirmed the Young Jeezy assisted “So Hard” as being the official second single. He says:

Her second official single “So Hard” featuring rapper Young Jeezy, follows the album’s debut single “Russian Roulette,” a dark ballad which came as a surprise to many fans who expected a high-energy dance track.

In a recent interview, Rihanna finally opened up to Glamour magazine about everything from her new album and image, to domestic violence.

Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can’t tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don’t dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It’s one of the things we [women] will hide, because it’s embarrassing. My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn’t heard. Now I can help speak for those women.

I know it seems like Rihanna overload, but she is really hitting us something serious with this music. The new track, “So Hard”, was just premiered on NYC’s Hot 97 radio station. I think the song is fire! She is really coming with these hard-hitting anthems! Not to mention, Tricky Stewart & The Dream did the damn thing with this production. This is by far the best track I’ve heard so far from Rated R. Speaking of the album, hit the jump to see the official tracklisting.

October 31, 2009 New Music: Rihanna – Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova)

UPDATE #2: A new unreleased track called “Bubble Pop” has been added after the jump. Apparently the track was left over from Good Girl Gone Bad and will.i.am. is responsible for the production.

UPDATE: After listening to the song a few times I’ve decided that I really like it. I love the Rihanna’s delivery and her attitude throughout the entire track. I also really appreciate how she went back to her roots with the Bajan accent. I’m super duper excited for Rated R.

Rihanna wasted no time hitting us with a second single. “Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova)” is a completely different offering from RiRi. I like it…I’m not sure I love it…but it’s a nice track. I prefer “Russian Roulette”.
